Grief, Practice, and the Passage of Time
Hello, after a rather lengthy period away from posting here. It has been roughly a year since a last update, and well more than a year since Bob died somewhat unexpectedly. In that time, my practice of Taiji as a formal, solo art has been very sporadic.
Some of this is no doubt due to avoidance and grief, and I’m moving forward with that as best as I am able, given the broader circumstances.
I still think about these matters nearly daily, often finding relevant books and articles and contemplating what Bob might make of them, if they reinforce or detract from the things we were theorizing and planning.
I’m going to attempt to make some more frequent updates, but that may or may not happen, depending on how larger winds blow. I still have a rather large backlog of material from Bob to process into things that might be published, as well as my own thoughts, most of which align, some of which don’t. To that end, I’ll shortly be publishing a thing which has been sitting as a draft for well over a year.
